Dinner Dance - Saturday 25 February '12

After a couple of succesful events together last year we start off this year with another one with our friends at SupperChat. A chance to meet and mingle with another like minded group as well as enjoy great food and dancing. We are going to the Veneto Club in Bulleen again as they do it so well why change. Adelaide Long Weekend Camp - Fri 9 - Mon 12 March '12

We had such a wonderful time at Victor Harbour last year that we are going back again to see what else we can do there. The Adare Conference Centre is a magnificent place so we are going to go and spend a lovely long weekend there. It is a long weekend for both Victoria and South Austraia so why not take advantage of that and come and have some fun and fellowship with us. If you are in NSW, QLD or Tasmania then why not ask for the Friday and Monday off and come over and join us. You won't be sorry you did.

This year our speaker is a little different. His name is Tukini Tavui who belongs to the Fijian church in Adelaide. He will be bringing some wonderful insights into God's Word for us. Tukini is a single father of 4 children so he should be able to relate to most of the singles trhere in one way or another. Autumn Bush Dance - 25 March '12

Can you believe that it has been two years since Solo's last bush dance and maybe the last time you actually went to one also. So let's get together and have a 'blast from the past' and come to the Burwood Uniting Church Hall and have some fun with us. We will have Ian Bunston back to frun us throhg all the dances as well as teach us what to do. Click on the above and get all the info you need.

Halls Gap Long Weekend Camp - Fri 8 - Mon 11 June '12

The Queen Birthday Weekend is upon us again so we head back to this wonderful place for our long weekend holiay. I will give more details of the speaker etc once they come to hand. It is a great environment to get t know Christian Singles in a warm, friendly and spiritually charged venue.

NSW Weekend Camp - Fri 19 - Sun 21 October '12

Once again we are blessed with the opportunity to go to Bethshan Conference Centre for this years camp. Now is the time to start saving and setting the time aside so that yu can enjoy the benefits of this campsite. Details of speaker etc will be advised later

30th Anniversary Gold Coast Holiday - Sat 5 - Sat 12 January '2013

Can you believe it!!! Club Solo celebrates their 30th Birthday next year. I tis hard to consider that 29 years ago Bill Foster's brain child to help out Christian Single Adults in Australia wold stil be going today! Praise God for His mercy and faithfulness for that. It is also the 5 anniversary of Solo going to the Mermaid Waters Resort for our camp so we will be celebarting twice over. Even though you may think that you have seen it all at the Gold Coast let me tell you that it has changed a lot since you have been there, even over the past 5 years.

We are looking at doing some special things on camp next year and invite as may of you to please come back to a Solo camp and see the difference now. If any of you endured the old 'B' site at Tallebudgera, as well as the 'sweatboxes' that were the demountables on that site then come back and see what God has provided for us. I would love to have to book out the whole 100 rooms that the resort has to cater for everyone who wants to come back and celebrate with us.
